PROFILE
Founded in late 2015 on the beautiful island of Corfu, Greece, Open Technologies (or open.tech in short) is a creative cooperative that operates in the field of web technology.

Open Technologies specialises in web application development, web design & web development and web advertising. In addition, we offer business consulting, especially on matters of funding as well as integration of innovation and new technologies. We also guide the people and the companies with which we cooperate in order to help them adapt to the emerging digital world and make good use of the digital tools that they need. The passion of our members is to use new technologies in order to overcome past and present challenges.

ACTIVITIES
What characterises Open Technologies is the urge for innovation and implementation of innovative projects. We are in touch with the world of startups and help them make their ideas come to life by providing support mainly on technological issues. At the same time, we implement our own projects, too. Moreover, we monitor the developments in the public sector and local government very closely to record their needs and we have compiled a wide variety of good practices in the following fields: Internet of Things, Smart Cities, Open Source Software & Hardware, Open Data etc.

Our purpose is to connect research and innovation with entrepreneurship and to support
the competitiveness, the productivity and the outreach of the businesses with which we cooperate
in order to reach the international markets.
